Thinking about coming? If you are thinking about visiting us for the first time here are some things that would be helpful to know:
How Do I Get to Grace Church? Grace Church is located in the south end of Peterborough, below Lansdowne Street. We are on the corner of Monaghan Road and Howden Street, directly across from Kenner collegiate. Click here to access the google map.
What time is the service? Our worship service begins at 9:30 am and runs for approximately 60 minutes. We offer a service of music, reflection and prayer that follows the theme of the biblical text for that week.
What if I have children? There is a "busy box" of activities at the tables at the back of the sanctuary for children to colour and play. There are also children’s activity bulletins that reflect the weekly theme.
When should I arrive for the service? Most people arrive between 10 to 15 minutes before the service begins.
Which door do I use? You can enter into the church through the door from the parking lot. At the top of the stairs you'll be welcomed by one of our greeters who will help you feel comfortable within our congregation.
What is the music like? Our music program is in development and so currently we have an organist/pianist that plays bi-weekly and supports our small, but mighty choir. When a musician is not available we utilize music videos that project the lyrics for congregational singing.
Is there a dress code? Absolutely not: just come as you are! We want you to feel comfortable as you spend this time with us. People usually come in anything from jeans to business casual.
Do I have to sing? Not if you don't feel comfortable. The words to every song are up on the screen at the front of the church and that makes it easy to sing along. It is completely up to you.
What does it cost to attend? There is no cost to come and worship. The members of our congregation are glad to provide you with this opportunity to be with us. So just come and enjoy!
Who is the speaker? Rev. Cathy Gradante speakes most sundays.
